2017 will mark 23 years working in public libraries, a constant over the years is the belief that libraries should be a place for creation, collaboration and innovation. As we move into the next phase of libraries she hopes that Keeping a Lookout can help to create libraries as hubs for all members of our community.

Justine Hanna
Currently at Melbourne Library Service, Justine has worked in public libraries for over 9 years. She is passionate about lifelong learning and libraries as sanctuary. She is one half of the podcast Dear Reader and a founding member of newCardigan. For Justine, Keeping A Lookout is sharing what work Librarians do already and helping to create more connected communities and socially inclusive societies.

Digital and Community Learning Liaison
Natasha has worked in public libraries since 2000. She is a digital geek and loves helping people learn how to use technology. She is passionate about digital literacy and hopes to be a digital leader within public libraries. Keeping a lookout has enabled her to think differently about what libraries can do to grow as a service and continue to be inclusive.
Kerry is relatively new to the Public Library sector, having joined Maribyrnong Library Service in March 2016. She has worked as a Teacher-Librarian in both primary and secondary schools and currently manages the Yarraville Library. Keeping A Lookout has fuelled her passion to empower others to make connections in their lives, and to make a positive difference in our community.
Marika joined the State Library Victoria Conservation Department, as the Senior Conservator of Paper in November 2013, having previously been employed at the University of Melbourne. To her, libraries are spaces of potential. She hopes that Keeping A Lookout inspires colleagues to connect, share ideas, build partnerships and celebrate diversity within their communities.
